Neva Chair

Regular Company

A multi international award winning chair which features sensual and fluid form expressed through soft, angular edges and transitions. Its tilted and arched backrest flows down into the armrests, creating one continuous line that descends into the front legs. Beside the ergonomics, its delicate surfaces invite additional tactile exploration. Supremely thin and light, the line of the Neva Chair reflects the technological process that created it, a combination of 5-axis CNC technology, as well as meticulous hand finishing from experienced craftsmen. The Neva chair is available in 6 different types of wood oak, walnut, maple, elm, cherry and pear, with various natural finishes, oils and soaps. The seat can be ordered in solid wood, or upholstered with leather or fabric. The Neva Chair has featured in numerous international projects.

Bloop Coffee Table

Regular Company

The Bloop Coffee Table defies the paradox of weight and weightlessness, a concept further accentuated by the tables leg placed off-centre. Its distinctive character is embodied in sculptural fluid transitions between interconnected parts, with soft-rounded edges and refined, constructive details – a design language applied consistently throughout the entire solid wood furniture range designed for Artisan. The organic joint between the leg and the table top reinforces its stability, a design that allows only one slim, vertical element, highlighting the tables sophisticated character. Crafted from solid wood, Bloop's unconventional form was created by shifting the axis of rotation of its base, leg and top thus defining the tables proportions and giving it a new balance point. The upward-rounded edges of both its base and top are made to appear almost soaring and flowing gracefully between its thin leg, defining Bloop as a sturdy piece with lightweight appearance. The coffee tables are available in 6 different types of wood oak, walnut, maple, elm, cherry and pear, with various natural finishes, oils and soaps.

Neva Lounge

Regular Company

The lounge collection consists of a chair and sofa, both with a low and high backrest version, trimmed and high. The Neva Lounge chair is a modern take on classic lounge chairs from the mid 20th century, with a contemporary simplicity and cleanness. The Neva Lounge collection is available in 6 different types of wood oak, walnut, maple, elm, cherry and pear, with various natural finishes, oils and soaps and upholstered in leather or fabric. The Neva collection was greatly inspired by natural forms and the simplicity and elegance of wood in nature. Wood in essence is organic, and its forms soft. For years wood has been forced into geometrical shapes as this was the only way to achieve larger volumes in serial production which means organic forms have been reserved for artisanal craftsmen. Modern technologies such as cnc carving have made it possible for more complex forms to be introduced into serial production, and with the spirit of the Artisan furniture company, the production of the Neva collection is an elegant dance of modern technology and artisanal handcraft, which are unavoidably overlapped.
